Joint Learning Program at the National Managers’ Community – British Columbia Regional Managers’ Fall Forum

Doug Lee, Jennifer Ho and Marshall Jones represented the Joint Learning Program (JLP) at the National Managers’ Community (NMC) – British Columbia Regional Managers’ Fall Forum. This event was held November 23 and 24 2010, in Burnaby. Information about the NMC is available at http://pfc.gc.ca/nmc. The kiosk exhibitors included Environment Canada, Canada Food Inspection Agency, Health Canada, Pacific Federal Council, Joint Learning Program, Canada School of Public Service, National Managers’ Community, Public Works and Government Services (Compensation - Web Applications), Governexx, and Human Rersources ans Social Development Canada -Labour Program.

The organizers encouraged the managers attending to visit each kiosk exhibitor with a signature sheet that included a brief description of each exhibitor. The signature sheet when signed at each exhibit would be used for daily draw prizes. A separate signature sheet was issued for each day.

The interest by managers was encouraging and the interest in the JLP workshops will increase.
