New "Mental Health In The Workplace" Facilitators
20 facilitators are now ready to provide the “Mental Health in the Workplace” Workshop in the British Columbia and Yukon Regions
From September 14 to 18, in Richmond, the British Columbia and Yukon Region hosted a Mental Health First Aid Canada training session followed by a JLP Mental Health in the Workplace (MHW) workshop clinic. The clinic provided JLP facilitators with exposure to the MHW kit as well as the opportunity to enhance their facilitation skills while exploring the latest JLP workshop.
The session was given by Rachel Besharah, JLP Program Officer and Lauretta MacCarron, Correctional Program Officer, CSC. They have welcomed a group of 20 new Mental Health in the Workplace facilitators: Lisa Nelson, Megan Watts, Carolina Navarrete, Robert Waddell, Aaron Billesberger, Courtney Overgaauw, Carla Busnardo, Julie Balantes (JLP RFC), Shane Faganello, Caleigh Miller, Carolyn McGillivray, Vanessa Green, Nicole Piket, Michael Crummy, Matthew Glade, Vanessa Durkee, Marie-Louise Boylan, Rosemary Godden, Roger Sehra, Eve D'Anjou.
