15 facilitators are now ready to deliver the "Mental Health in the Workplace" workshop in the Quebec region
From September 30 to October 2, in Longueuil, Quebec Region held a two-day Mental Health First Aid certification training. This intensive workshop was followed by a clinic featuring the JLP Mental Health in the Workplace (MHW) kit.
For the first two days of the Mental Health First Aid training, the following guests joined the group and also received the training; Nicole Vachon (Economic Development Canada), Branka Preradovik (Canadian Space Agency), André Paquin and Benoit Thibault (Fisheries and Oceans), Lyne Laflamme (Shared Services Canada), Carole Ricard (Public Works and Government Services Canada), Sandra Guéric and Erik Mackay (Professional Institute of the Public Service).
The third day was reserved for facilitators preparing to deliver the MHW workshop. The clinic, which was facilitated by Marcia Vergara and Anouchka Chagnon, provided JLP facilitators with exposure to the MHW kit. On that day, the Quebec region welcomed a group of 15 new Mental Health in the Workplace facilitators: Sandra Lemaire, Danielle Desire, Audrey Concilio, Toufic El-Daher, Bianca Allard, Dominique St-Jean, Claudyne Hilaire, Francis Jeanson, Marie-Josée Rouleau, Karine Coutu, Isabelle Delisle, Brigitte Bilodeau, Marie-Chantal Latour, Isabelle Labrie and Jean Pineault. Vicky Champagne, Regional Field Coordinator, was also present for the three days of training.
