Welcome to new JLP facilitators from the B.C. and Yukon Region
Although these participants seem to have a sense of urgency to obtain their facilitator certificate at the JLP Orientation Session, the Emergency sign in the group picture was actually an overlay on the hotel where a movie was being filmed.
The Session featured three JLP workshop kits, Duty to Accommodate, Respecting Differences and Anti-Discrimination, and Understanding the Collective Agreement. Program Officers Rachel Besharah and Nathalie Duquette guided the learning for participants to practice their facilitation skills.
Here is what some of the participants had to say about the Session:
- “Not only will you learn, you will know how to apply the material to your life – inside and outside of work” Melinda Medland (Canada Border Service Agency)
- “I feel incredibly supported and equipped to be a successful JLP facilitator. I look forward to the journey ahead”.
The JLP is fortunate to include these 16 stars to the dynamic team of JLP facilitators contributing to healthier workplaces.
