Meeting many new managers in the National Capital Region

The NMC Connect Day brought together about 200 managers to talk about intergenerational workplaces and their specific challenges, with over half attending an NMC event for the very first time.

Ronald Thériault (Regional Field Coordinator, employer) and Deirdre Brown (Communication, Promotion and Outreach Officer) hosted a JLP kiosk throughout the day, chatting with dozens of interested managers, many of whom were discovering the JLP for the first time. Attendees were particularly curious about the upcoming launch of the newly revised Duty to Accommodate in-person workshop and virtual discussion.

The JLP is always delighted to participate in NMC events, as they provide a unique opportunity to connect with managers who are committed to fostering healthy, communicative workplaces.
