The JLP welcomes new facilitators in the Quebec region
The Drummondville session danced to the rhythm of learning and collaboration!
The Joint Learning Program’s orientation session for the Quebec region was held in a very dynamic city. Regional Field Coordinators Michaëlle Antoine (union) and Andrée Damphousse (employer) welcomed eighteen enthusiastic participants from all over the province for an immersive week of learning and sharing.
An unforgettable adventure. Jean-Marcel St-Jean, union, SCC
From the get-go, Program Officers Christine Vallières (employer) and Catherine Lapierre-Ouellet (union) watched a beautiful synergy grow among the particpants, building strong bonds and new friendships. The enthusiasm was palpable: several participants have already chosen the first workshop they want to facilitate.
It’s a real pleasure to see how collective intelligence enables everyone to grow, learn, and share their knowledge. Collective participation made for a stimulating experience.
Lilianne Côté, employer, ESDC
Learning activities for the group used the JLP’s experiential approach. These enhanced participants’ facilitation and communication skills using material from three JLP workshops, namely Preventing Harassment and Violence in the Workplace, Understanding the Collective Agreement, and Duty to Accommodate.
The end of this week in Drummondville marks the very first steps of our new facilitators’ inspiring journey, and each participant is now ready to spread the word about the JLP across Quebec!
