A Brand New Facilitator Cohort in the NCR
The National Capital Region (NCR) welcomed its newest cohort of facilitators at an orientation session which took place at the DEV Hotel in Cornwall from January 19-23. Regional Field Coordinators Michèle Parent (union) and Ronald Thériault (employer) welcomed 18 fresh faces for a week of learning and growing together.
Perfect co-facilitators. Not only privileged but humbly grateful for every single day and person.

Program Officers Catherine Lapierre-Ouellet (union) and Christine Vallières (employer) led the future facilitators through learning activities based on the JLP’s experiential approach. The budding facilitators explored material from three JLP in-person workshops, Preventing Harassment and Violence in the Workplace, Understanding the Collective Agreement, and Duty to Accommodate.
My experience was a very positive and enlightening one. My expectations were exceeded as I felt supported and encouraged in every way from my peers and facilitators.Mélanie Mckee, ESDC, Employer
The week was filled with meaningful insights, lively discussions, and growing confidence. The group built genuine synergy, setting the stage for high-impact facilitation across the NCR.
