JLP-NCR welcomes 16 new Facilitators
Participants of the JLP Orientation Session gathered in Ottawa, Ontario, from October 29 to November 2, 2018. JLP Program Officers, Rachel Besharah and Nathalie Duquette facilitated the session modelling the JLP’s experiential learning approach.
Throughout the week, participants explored co-facilitation skills, group dynamics, peer feedback, and workshop preparation through a range of learning methods and facilitation techniques.
They also improved their facilitation and communication skills using the material from three JLP workshops, namely Understanding the Collective Agreement, Duty to Accommodate, and Respecting Differences and Anti-Discrimination.
“This course was a joy to participate in. I learned a lot and know I have more to learn. Thank you” shared Kathaleen Nicholson from Transport Canada.
Regional Field Coordinators Deirdre Brown and Patrick Rosemond welcome Shannon Anderson, Marian Boardman, Karine Bollman, Behiye Cinkilic, Emily Denis, Janice Edgar, Natalie Gamauf, Shelley Hovey, Roxanne Larue, Beverly LeDrew, Naji Matta, Kathaleen Nicholson, Roslynn Ross, Patricia Spagnolo, Caitlin Stone, and Francesca Verhoeve to the JLP facilitator community.
Congratulations all, and welcome to the JLP team!
